Comparison

Product comparisons

Start with the trade-off you want to understand. Each comparison uses the same published evidence as the full verdicts. Category standards and ingredient explanations give that evidence its context.

Coterie vs HealthyBaby diapers

Both diapers carry a Clean verdict under our diaper standard at the same relative price tier, and that shared verdict is not a practical-performance ranking. The category guide separately identifies picks under that published standard; this comparison examines their different evidence rather than scoring absorbency or leakage. Coterie has organic-fluorine and targeted PFAS testing on record. HealthyBaby has the more detailed ingredient disclosure, a third certification in our published review, and organic-fluorine results from both 2023 and 2026.

Trade-offs covered: Testing on record; Certifications listed; Materials disclosed; Legal history; Ownership and availability.

Glass vs PPSU baby bottles

Glass and PPSU are both reasonable bottle bodies, and neither makes a plastic-free bottle. A glass body avoids the polypropylene-body shedding mechanism measured in a 2020 study, which did not test glass bottles. But the rings, caps and vents on the glass bottles we reviewed are often polypropylene or other polymers. PPSU is light, shatter resistant and tolerates high heat, but it is a polymer, and we found no test of the Hegen bottle itself.

Trade-offs covered: What the body is; Strengths and trade-offs of the body; The rest of the bottle; What testing found; Verdicts in this category.
