This page explains what The Verdict List collects, what it doesn't, and which outside services are involved; no legalese, no vague "may share data with partners" language.

The short version

This site has no user accounts and does not sell data. It has no forms, so it does not collect anything you type. Page-view analytics are aggregate and cookieless. If you click an affiliate link, the retailer you land on may track that visit under their own privacy policy, not this one.

What this site collects directly

There are no forms, no comment system and no accounts. The Verdict List itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. If you email contact@theverdictlist.com, we receive the address and message you send.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare describes as cookieless and as not using client-side storage or fingerprinting to identify visitors. We see aggregate figures such as which pages were viewed and roughly how many people visited, not individual visitors. The beacon is managed by Cloudflare’s hosting configuration. This site sets no analytics cookies and uses no cross-site visitor identifiers.

Cookies

The Verdict List itself sets no cookies. One third party involved with the site may set its own, under its own policy, not this one:

  • Amazon sets its own tracking cookie when you click an Amazon Associates affiliate link and land on amazon.com. That's how Amazon attributes a purchase to this site for the commission described in theaffiliate disclosure. It happens on Amazon's site, under Amazon's privacy policy, after you've left this one.

Third parties this site uses

Data retention

This site keeps no personal data of its own to retain. Cloudflare’s analytics report aggregate numbers, so we hold no individual analytics records to delete.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters (a new analytics provider, a new email service, a new kind of data collected), this page will be updated and its "last reviewed" date will move. Check back here rather than assuming nothing has changed.
