Affiliate disclosure

The short version

If you buy something through a link on this site, The Verdict List may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. A product's tier — verified clean, use with your eyes open, or avoid for now — is decided first, from the published standard. An affiliate link is only ever added after that decision, never before, and never for a product on the avoid tier.

Amazon Associates

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Prices next to an Amazon link are never a hand-typed dollar figure — Amazon's program rules only allow prices sourced from their own feed or API, so those entries show a relative price tier ($ / $$ / $$$) instead of a number.

Other programs

Amazon Associates is the only affiliate program in use on The Verdict List right now. If that changes, the new program will be named here by name, with its own required disclosure wording, before any of its links appear anywhere else on the site.

What this never affects

  • No brand pays for, previews, or edits a verdict before it's published.
  • The owner is not an employee, officer, or agent of any reviewed brand.
  • A product's tier is never changed to add, keep, or improve an affiliate relationship.
  • Links are never cloaked, shortened, or redirected to obscure the destination.
